New episodes are automatically queued for transcription and analysis after download, queues recover more robustly after app or background interruptions, and duplicate jobs are avoided. Episodes you deleted manually are not downloaded again without your action. Ad detection uses more context from transcripts, show notes, known patterns, and podcast-provided transcripts. CarPlay, Auto-Skip announcements, chapter or five-minute jumps, and the Store screenshots have also been improved. 1.7.1: iOS maintenance update. Known text patterns, self-promotion, and other trusted segments are considered more reliably for Auto-Skip, even when an episode needs to be re-analysed later. Queue states, display states, and Store text have also been cleaned up.

MuteCast analyzes episodes directly on your device and marks likely structural sections such as ads, self-promotion, donation calls, intros, outros, banter, and uncertain passages. Segments appear in the timeline so you can review them, skip them, or leave them alone. Confidence percentages are not guarantees: 100% means a manual correction, high values come from known text patterns, chapters, local AI/analysis, or confirmed ad cues, and lower values are weaker audio or position hints. This helps you review the most relevant spots first. A visible segment is not always skipped automatically. MuteCast first checks the segment type, detection source, confidence score, and the podcast switches. Nothing is deleted. Nothing is secretly changed. MuteCast makes structure visible and lets you decide how each podcast should play. Privacy is part of the product: no login, no analytics, no tracking SDKs, and no server-side analysis. Feeds, audio, artwork, and transcripts are used only to transcribe, play, and organize the podcasts you choose. Subscribe to RSS feeds, stream episodes, download them for offline listening, and keep your queue ready when Wi-Fi is gone. MuteCast is built for everyday podcast listening with clear controls on phone, watch, and in the car. Podcasts are valuable, but long episodes can be hard to navigate. MuteCast turns listening into visible structure without accounts, tracking, or cloud analysis. The optional Music tab shows recently added tracks from your Apple Music library. Starting music pauses the podcast, and music stays separate from podcast downloads, transcription, and analysis.
