Keyboard — a new tool Play on screen, or plug in a MIDI keyboard over USB-C or Bluetooth. Eleven sounds, including a recorded grand piano, FM piano, vibraphone, marimba and harp, plus two drum kits you play on pads. GoBand names the chord as you play it. Play along Pick one of your songs or a progression. GoBand shows the chord to play, waits until you play it, then moves on. Key hints show you where your fingers go, and you can switch them off once you know it. Looper Record a few bars over a click, then build on them — drums first, then bass, then a lead. Up to four layers, each with its own sound. Snap to an eighth or a sixteenth if your timing needs a hand. Photograph a chart Take a picture of a chart and GoBand reads the chords, the words and the sections. Pasting, files and PDFs all work as before. Capo Say which fret the capo goes on when you build a song, and guitarists can switch the chart to the shapes they actually play. The song stays in its own key for everyone else. Play a whole setlist Open an event, tap Play, and swipe from song to song without leaving the chart. Chords Guitar chords now show alternative shapes up the neck, and piano chords show their inversions, so you can find the version that fits what you are playing. Events Today's event is marked, and there is a new "On the day" reminder that arrives three hours before you play. Band admins can now approve join requests, not only the director.
