New version 1.2.2 → 1.2.3

Version 1.2.3 • Real airways — every published track is now rebuilt from real airline flights recorded by the adsb.lol ADS-B network over the last two years. Nearly 1,800 tracks, about three times as many as before, including US domestic trunk routes and intra-Europe and intra-Asia hops that were missing. • Seasonal routing — about half the tracks fly their own path in winter, spring, summer or autumn, following where airlines actually route with the jet stream that season. • Airspace detours — where airlines changed their routing in March 2026, affected tracks offer both paths in the route picker, the one flown 2025–Feb 2026 and the one flown since March 2026; both earn the license bonus. • Helsinki — joins the map as a new hub, with tracks from real airline flights. • 3D landmarks — the landmarks you build now stand on the globe and flat map as 3D models that turn with the map. Prefer the pixel art? Switch back in Settings. • Relief shading — mountains now stand out on the satellite globe in every season. • Sun and Moon — in Globe view the Sun and Moon sit beside the Earth, the Sun at its real position for the date, so you can see why day and night sweep around the planet. • Night flights — cities light up on the night side of the satellite globe (turn them off in Settings). When your plane flies on the night side, the map dims like a cabin with the lights down and the plane shows small red and green wingtip lights and a tail strobe. On a custom skin the lights are placed automatically; move them or turn them off in Hangar → Lights. Every flight can now take off as late as midnight local time, and arriving at night no longer cuts your passenger load. • Fixes — the manual-flight line no longer disappears when an airport is over the horizon, airports from earlier trips no longer keep their label, the 3D Great Pyramid is a better size, and while you fly only the departure and arrival airports are shown. • Five new licenses — Gulf–Americas Link, South Pacific Crossings, Australia–Asia Network, Africa–Asia Network and Africa–N. America cover routes no license did before. • Open airports — every airport can be bought as soon as you can afford its slot; the regional prerequisites are gone. • The scheduled-flight network now comes from the same real flight data, so "scheduled" badges and multi-leg routes match today's airlines. • Fully translated — the last English text is now translated into all six languages, and Simplified Chinese players get Simplified Chinese onboarding. Also in 1.2.2 • Aircraft Upgrades — Engine, Tanks and Fuel upgrades for every aircraft you own, three permanent levels each; a fully upgraded airframe earns about 20% more per flight.

About

Voyaero is a charter-airline simulation built around real-world airports and climatological winds. Pick a starter region — Asia, Europe, or North America — and grow a single regional hub into a global network by chasing tailwinds, dodging headwinds, and earning route licenses across four airport tiers. KEY FEATURES • Climatological wind, real geography. Every flight runs against an atmospheric wind field derived from public reanalysis data. Eastbound legs across mid-latitudes ride the jet stream; tropical legs catch the trade winds. Pick the wrong direction and you'll bleed fuel. • Published airways. More than 1,700 tracks rebuilt from real airline flights (adsb.lol ADS-B data) — North Atlantic, Pacific, Trans-Eurasia, polar arcs and busy domestic trunks — many with their own path each season. Fly them as bonus routes once you own the matching license. The straight cyan line is the great-circle direct path; the yellow dashed lines are the published airways with their bonuses. • Six aircraft tiers. From the regional Horizon TP-40 turboprop up to the Globe Trotter GT-1 ultra-long-range explorer that can circle the world in a single flight. • Aircraft Upgrades. Improve the aircraft you already own instead of only saving for the next one. Three tracks per airframe in the Hangar — Engine for cruise speed, Tanks for range, Fuel for what a leg costs — three permanent levels each. A fully upgraded aircraft earns around 20% more per flight. • Charter operations. No fixed schedule. Pick a destination, pick a takeoff slot in local time, and the picker tells you whether you'll catch a tailwind, hit headwinds, or cross the day/night terminator. Wait 12+ hours for a rested-crew bonus, or take off as late as midnight for a night flight. • Two projection modes. 3D globe and flat equirectangular — toggle from the toolbar to suit how you want to think about a leg. • Three map backgrounds. Satellite (NASA Blue Marble), topographic (Natural Earth Cross Blended Hypsometric Tints), and pure vector geojson with four selectable color themes (Atlas Green, Midnight Chart, Sepia Atlas, Mono Slate). • Day/night terminator. The Sun and Moon sit beside the globe, the Sun at its real position. Plan ETAs that don't dump your passengers into a 3 AM arrival. • Tier-based airport progression. Start with regional slots, unlock secondary hubs, then major hubs, and finally mega-hubs like LHR, JFK, and LAX. No prerequisites — any airport is yours as soon as you can afford its slot. • Destination dossiers. Tap any airport to read a one-page brief: the city's airline-relevant geography, weather quirks, nearby alternates, and a "did you know" fact you can use to plan smarter approaches. • Captain's logbook. Every first arrival at a new airport and every new aircraft purchase unlocks a short flavour vignette in the spirit of a real pilot's journal. • World Landmarks. Build 37 real-world monuments at the airports you serve, from the Römer to the Great Pyramid of Giza. Each rises over its city on the globe as you zoom in, permanently lifts the load factor on routes through its airport, and carries a short note on what it is. A late-game money sink that outlasts the fleet, and a collection to complete. • Achievements. Three long-haul goals tracked in the Stats tab: clear the game, collect every landmark, and found all three custom airports. • Six languages. Built-in support for English, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. WHO IT'S FOR If you've ever traced a long-haul on a globe and wondered why a Tokyo–Los Angeles flight curves up over the Aleutians, or why London–New York is faster going west, Voyaero is your sandbox. Real geography, climatological winds, no in-app purchases, no ads, no live-service grind. Just you, a globe, and the atmosphere. Ships as a single binary — no servers, no accounts, no telemetry. Your save lives on your device. Data sources and licenses are credited in the app's About screen.
