AI Lab: Learn AI Visually

About

Understand how AI works by experimenting with a real language model on your iPhone or iPad. AI Lab pairs short explanations with interactive visualizations. Type a prompt, inspect tokens and attention, change a setting, and see what happens. The small model runs on your device, so the core lessons and Lab work offline without an account or API key. LEARN STEP BY STEP Follow 20 lessons across five chapters, from tokens, embeddings, and attention to training, retrieval, agents, evaluation, LoRA, diffusion, and more. Each lesson combines an idea, guided activities, and a short understanding check. Saved progress helps you continue where you left off. LOOK INSIDE A MODEL Explore tokenization, embeddings, attention heads, layers, next-token probabilities, sampling, and training. The app distinguishes live model results from simplified teaching demonstrations. EXPERIMENT IN THE LAB Generate text with the small on-device model and inspect its predictions. Change sampling controls and compare how the output changes. This is a learning tool, not a general-purpose AI assistant. EXPLORE RESEARCH The Pro Papers library offers curated research entries, context, and links to original sources. An in-app reader opens supported pages from their original websites. Internet access is required for external papers and websites; access depends on each source. MADE FOR IPHONE AND IPAD Use English or Simplified Chinese, choose light or dark appearance, and learn with layouts that adapt to your screen. FREE TO START Lessons 1–4 and the Lab are free. An optional one-time AI Lab Pro purchase unlocks all 20 lessons and the Papers library. No subscription. Restore eligible purchases with the same Apple Account.
