Quran Ayah Widget · Mishkah

About

Feel far from the Qur'an — and quietly wish you didn't? Mishkāh meets you with one verse a day, right on your Lock Screen, where the scrolling used to be. A small, gentle return: no guilt, no noise, no nagging — just the words you needed, when you needed them. The name 'Mishkāh' (مشكاة) means 'niche of light' — from Sūrah An-Nūr (24:35), the most beloved verse on guidance. That's what this app is: a small lit niche on your screen, every day. Built by Muslims, for Muslims. Reading & prayer times work offline. No account. No tracking. — DAILY VERSE WIDGETS — • Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets in every size • Small: a single ayah rendered in SF Arabic with Uthmani calligraphy • Medium: ayah + translation in your chosen language • Large: ayah + translation + short reflection (tadabbur) • Circular and rectangular Lock Screen widgets for a glance of remembrance • Tap any widget to open straight into the full verse and its surah — FULL QUR'AN READER — • All 114 surahs, every ayah, bundled offline • Uthmani script beautifully typeset with SF Arabic • Juz and hizb navigation, verse-by-verse search • Clean, distraction-free typography with adjustable size • Tap any ayah for translation, tafsir excerpt, and bookmark — PRAYER TIMES + QIBLA — • Accurate prayer times (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) for your exact location • Live Activity on the Lock Screen with the next prayer countdown • Gentle adhan notifications, fully customizable per prayer • Qibla compass with a smooth, calibrated needle • Hijri calendar with Gregorian cross-reference — DUAS, DHIKR, 99 NAMES — • A curated library of daily duas with transliteration and meaning • Tasbih counter for morning and evening azkar • The 99 Names of Allah (Asma ul-Husna) with meanings and reflections • Mood flow: tell the app how you feel, receive an ayah meant for that moment — STREAKS + REMEMBRANCE — • Gentle daily streaks, never shaming, always encouraging • Ambient mode for focused tadabbur with beautiful textures • Share verses as images made to be kept, not scrolled past — PRIVACY FIRST — • No account required.
