About

Monitor your dog’s sleeping respiratory rate with PetResp — a simple tracking tool developed by a veterinarian. Sleeping respiratory rate can be an important measurement to monitor in dogs, particularly when your veterinarian has recommended tracking breathing at home. PetResp makes measuring and tracking simple. Record a short video of your dog while they’re sleeping, then count their breaths during playback. If you make a mistake, you can undo a count or replay the video and start again. With PetResp, you can: • Record your dog while they sleep • Count breaths during video playback • Undo counts or replay the video when needed • View your dog’s respiratory rate immediately • Save measurements and build a breathing history • Track respiratory rate trends over time • Establish your dog’s individual baseline from their history • See when a sleeping respiratory rate is elevated • Receive clear next-step guidance based on the measurement PetResp keeps your dog’s previous measurements together so you can easily see changes and trends. Once enough sleeping measurements have been recorded, PetResp establishes an individual baseline to provide additional context for future readings. Videos recorded in PetResp are not uploaded or shared. Important: PetResp is a monitoring aid only. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose medical conditions, and does not replace veterinary care. Respiratory rate should always be interpreted in the context of your dog’s overall health and your veterinarian’s recommendations. If your dog is having difficulty breathing, appears distressed, collapses, or you are otherwise concerned about their condition, seek veterinary care promptly.
