Moonwax - Music Ranking

About

What does your music taste actually look like? Moonwax gives you a definitive answer. Instead of star ratings or vague top-tens, Moonwax builds your ranked lists through head-to-head comparisons — one album against another, one song against another. Pick your favorite. Repeat. The result is a precise, personal ranking that reflects exactly how you hear music. **Pairwise Ranking** Every ranking session is a duel. Two albums. Two songs. You choose one. Moonwax uses your picks to build a ranked list that's mathematically consistent — no more top tens where everything is tied for first. When you're done ranking, you'll know exactly where everything stands. **Personal Ranked Lists** Your library, your order. Build ranked lists for any genre, era, mood, or artist. Come back and update them as your taste evolves. Moonwax keeps a full history so you can see how your opinions have shifted over time. **Charts & Discover** Curious what else is out there? Moonwax surfaces albums and songs ranked highly by people with taste similar to yours — not algorithmic recommendations, but genuine signals from real listeners. Discover records you've been sleeping on and artists who've been flying under your radar. **Social Feed** See what your friends are ranking in real time. When someone you follow finishes a ranking session or adds a new album to their list, it shows up in your feed. Music is more interesting when you can see how the people around you hear it. **Compare with Friends** Pull up a side-by-side comparison of your taste versus a friend's. Where do you align? Where do you diverge completely? The overlap and the gaps are often the most interesting part. **Spotify Import** Already have years of listening history on Spotify? Connect your account and import your saved albums and liked songs directly into Moonwax. Start ranking from a library that already knows what you love, not a blank slate. Moonwax is for people who take music seriously — who have opinions, who want to know their own taste better, and who want to share it with others who feel the same way.
