SunTan: SPF Tan Planner

About

SunTan turns your skin type, local UV, SPF, and tanning goal into a personalized sun exposure routine. Instead of showing only a UV number, SunTan builds a practical plan: an estimated session time, body-side rotation timers, a burn-risk countdown, a vitamin D estimate, recovery reminders, and your exposure history. TODAY'S SKIN PLAN Open the app to a personalized session built from your Fitzpatrick skin type, today's local UV, and your selected SPF — with a recommended session length and recovery window. TAN PROTOCOL SCORE A daily 0–100 readiness score tells you whether today suits your plan, factoring UV timing, burn risk, recovery status, cloud cover, and SPF match. SPF-AWARE ROUTINE TIMER Session timing adjusts to your skin type, local UV, and the sunscreen you're using — and shows the exact inputs it was built from. BODY-SIDE ROTATION Follow a guided front, back, and side routine with step timers so exposure stays even and structured. BURN-RISK COUNTDOWN Track your time in the sun with an educational burn-risk estimate. RECOVERY GUIDANCE Know when your next session is recommended based on your recent exposure — plan around your skin, not just today's weather. VITAMIN D ESTIMATE Estimate your sunlight progress from UV, skin type, and time outside. WIDGETS & REMINDERS Keep your plan, score, and timers on your home and lock screen. SunTan provides educational estimates only and is not medical advice. UV exposure can increase the risk of sunburn and skin cancer. Always follow local guidance and consult a medical professional for health concerns.
