PhotoTextFinder

About

PhotoTextFinder Find the Text You Already Saved. Your photo library is full of screenshots and photos containing information you may need again — receipts, confirmation numbers, addresses, travel details, notes, product information, instructions, and more. You know you saved it. PhotoTextFinder helps you find it. PhotoTextFinder creates a searchable index of the text inside your screenshots and photos. Search for a word, name, number, place, or phrase, and quickly locate the images that contain it. HOW IT WORKS Grant PhotoTextFinder access to your photo library and let it build a local text index. Once indexed, simply search for the text you remember. PhotoTextFinder shows the matching screenshots and photos so you can quickly find the image you were looking for. KEY FEATURES SEARCH TEXT INSIDE YOUR PHOTOS Search the words contained inside screenshots and photos, not just filenames or dates. FIND SCREENSHOTS YOU SAVED MONTHS AGO Look for a confirmation number, airline name, restaurant, product, address, receipt total, note, or anything else you remember seeing. SEARCH PHOTOS AND SCREENSHOTS SEPARATELY Browse all indexed images or filter between screenshots, photos, and favorites. PRIVATE, ON-DEVICE INDEXING PhotoTextFinder processes your photos and creates its searchable text index locally on your device. Your photos and extracted photo text are not uploaded to a cloud service for searching. NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED No registration, login, or external account is required. KEEP YOUR INDEX CURRENT When new screenshots or photos are added to your library, update the index so they become searchable too.
