About
AdGuardian! is a DNS-based ad and tracker blocker for iPhone and iPad. It uses Apple's local packet tunnel to filter unwanted domain requests across browsers and supported apps—without routing your web traffic through a remote proxy. WHY ADGUARDIAN! • Device-wide DNS filtering, not just a browser extension • Built-in domain rules for ads and common trackers • Import custom blocklists for more control • Allowlist trusted domains when a site or app needs access • View daily and lifetime blocking statistics • Reload protection after changing your lists • Direct network path with no remote proxy routing HOW IT WORKS When protection is enabled, iOS creates a local VPN profile for the packet tunnel. The tunnel handles DNS filtering on your device and blocks matching domains before they connect. The VPN label in iOS refers to this local filtering mechanism; AdGuardian! is not a remote-location VPN service. Designed for a simple routine: turn protection on, use your device normally, and fine-tune lists only when you need to. Requires iOS 16 or later. Availability and filtering results can vary by app, website, and domain rules. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
