A notification when someone generates AI Insights, the newest Claude models, and insights that count everyone once. - Everyone in the group gets a notification when someone generates new AI Insights, the same way as for a new rating or a post on the Board: who ran it, with the short summary. Tap it to open that section on its AI tab. - Claude Haiku 5.5 is the default for a fresh install: Anthropic's newest small model, cheaper than Haiku 4.5. A stored Haiku 4.5 choice carries over. - Claude Sonnet 5.5, Opus 5.5 and Fable 5.1 are in the model list in Settings. Fable 5.1 replaces Fable 5 and Sonnet 5.5 stands in for the retiring Sonnet 4.5; a saved choice of either moves over by itself. - AI Insights no longer count one person twice. A couple of scores from the imported list had never moved to their owner's account, so the AI saw them as a separate person. The app moves them over by itself the first time this version opens. - About shows a copyright line that moves with the calendar.

About
The Verdict The Verdict is a private movie and show rating app built for friend groups. Add titles, rate them on a scale of 1 to 10, and see how your taste stacks up against the people whose opinions actually matter to you. HOW IT WORKS One person creates a group and invites friends through iCloud sharing. Everyone sees the same list of movies and shows. When you rate a title, your score stays hidden until you submit. No peeking, no anchoring, no "oh I was going to say that too." Once you lock in your rating, all scores reveal and you can see where the group stands. RATE AND RANK Score anything from 1.0 to 10.0 with decimal precision. Change your mind later if a movie ages like milk or wine. Rankings are calculated automatically based on group averages, and you need at least two ratings before a title makes the list. Filter by year or genre to settle very specific arguments. THE BULLETIN BOARD Found a great review? Spotted a trailer that needs group attention? Post links, photos, and articles to the shared bulletin board. The app automatically pulls in previews with images and titles. Add a comment, start a conversation, plan your next movie night. AI INSIGHTS Powered by Claude, the AI tab breaks down your group's viewing habits. Genre preferences, rating trends, who agrees with who, and who is the generous rater versus the harsh critic. It is your group's taste profile, generated from your actual data. BUILT FOR PRIVACY Your data lives in your own iCloud account through CloudKit sharing. There are no social profiles, no public feeds, no algorithmic recommendations trying to keep you scrolling. API keys for TMDB (movie data) and Anthropic (AI insights) are stored securely in your device's keychain. The app works for your group and nobody else. FEATURES Private group rating with score-hiding until you commit. Movies and shows tracked separately with full TMDB metadata. Decimal scoring from 1.0 to 10.0. Rankings filtered by year and genre. Spoiler-tagged comments per title. Shared bulletin board for links, photos, and articles. AI-powered group taste analysis. Real-time sync across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Clean, focused design with no ads or tracking.
