Shabbat Checklist

About

Shabbat Checklist helps observant Jewish families prepare for Shabbat and the holidays — calmly, together, and on time. PREPARE WITH CONFIDENCE One glance shows what matters most: your candle-lighting countdown front and center on Friday, days left, and how much prep time remains — one calm reminder at a time, never a wall of alerts. A guided Erev Shabbat checklist covers cleaning, cooking, groceries, guests and more, with accurate location-based candle lighting and Havdalah times. SHARE THE LOAD WITH YOUR FAMILY Invite your family with a code or link. Assign tasks and get a gentle notification the moment someone finishes theirs. A Friday-morning digest — "Candles at 7:42, 5 tasks left" — keeps everyone on track. Every notification stays silent from candle lighting until Havdalah. COOK AND SHOP WITH EASE Get Shabbat menu ideas midweek, built from your recipes and past meals — one tap fills your meal plan and adds the scaled, merged ingredients to your grocery list. Built-in challah and Shabbat recipes scale to your guest count, with step-by-step instructions. A smart grocery list with categories, quick-add buttons for Shabbat staples, and two-way sync with Apple Reminders. Track candles by type — tea lights, tapers, oil and wicks — and Kiddush wine and grape juice, so you never run short. HOLIDAYS, COVERED Full Yom Tov calendar support — Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Shmini Atzeret, Pesach and Shavuot. Knows Diaspora vs. Israel observance and adjusts day counts and Yizkor accordingly. Shows the weekly parsha, the Omer count, and minor holidays like Chanukah, Purim and Tisha B'Av. YOURS, IN YOUR LANGUAGE Fully localized in 40+ languages — including Hebrew and Arabic with full right-to-left support. Reminders and calendar integration keep your Shabbat prep on schedule. Turn the weekly race against sundown into a calm, shared routine — and welcome Shabbat the way it is meant to be.
