Chad 1.7 plans your week and gives every ride a closer look. Fit your plan to your week. Tell Chad which days you can ride and for how long, and your training track becomes dated sessions. Today's session shows up on your Dashboard, and the plan adjusts as you ride. It's part of Full Coaching, for riders with a target event — and optional: skip it and Chad keeps suggesting a ride each day. A new ride view. Tap any ride to see it in three tabs: Overview (your stats compared with your recent rides, plus Chad's note), Analysis (a speed, heart-rate or power chart you can scrub with a finger) and Route (a map coloured by effort). Gravel and mountain bike goals. Tell Chad your event is gravel or mountain bike and your readiness target scales to match — rougher terrain asks more of you. Smarter after a big day. After a ride that is unusually long or hard for you, Chad now points you to a moderate ride next instead of another hard one — without forcing a rest day. Also in this release: - After you import a ride, Chad opens it so you see the feedback straight away - Imports and recalculations are smoother and sturdier on large ride libraries - Performance and stability improvements throughout the app

About
Your coach, not your scoreboard. Chad measures you against your last few weeks — not your best-ever ride. Most cycling apps celebrate your all-time peak. Chad cares about your current form: what your recent training says you are ready for today, and what to ride next. After a break, a hard block, or a long season, the coaching adjusts to where you are now — no guilt, no ghost of your fittest self. No setup. No account, no sign-up, no FTP test, no forms to fill in. Import one ride — or tap "Read a sample ride" to try Chad with no data of your own — and Chad works out your terrain, your FTP, and your heart-rate ceiling from the ride itself. You do not start from zero. Export your Strava archive, hand the file to Chad, and every cycling activity you have ever logged imports in one go — years of riding, read on your phone, filling in your history and your map at once. Single rides import too, from Garmin, Wahoo, Karoo, or anything that exports FIT, TCX, or GPX. Seconds later, Chad tells you in plain language what a session actually did, how hard it was, and what it means for your training this week. ### New: Plan around your week Set a target event — sportive, gran fondo, gravel or mountain bike — and Chad tracks your readiness and counts down the days. Then tell Chad which days you can ride and for how long, and your training track becomes dated sessions that fit your week, with today's session on your Dashboard. It's optional: skip it and Chad keeps suggesting a ride each day. ### Claim new ground Every ride you import claims the ~1 km map tiles it crosses — a heatmap of everywhere you have actually ridden, with the blank patches next door suggesting your next route. No leaderboards, no sharing, no streak to protect. ### Key Features - Claim new ground: a ~1 km tile heatmap of every road you have ridden, on a real map - See at a glance whether your last 7 days are moving you forward - Plain-language feedback after every ride: what it did, how hard it was, what it means - Open any ride for an Overview, a chart you can scrub, and a route map coloured by effort - Set a target event and track your readiness score and days to go - See your fitness trend — a training load chart built from your rides, visible from day one - Track your consistency streak and ride milestones as your history grows - Smart FTP and max heart rate suggestions built from your recent ride data - Review heart-rate zones, power zones, and training load - Keep the last 2 months free, with a one-time upgrade for full coaching ### Unlock Full Coaching Upgrade once with a one-time in-app purchase to unlock: - Complete ride history — including every tile you ever claimed, not just 2 months - Fatigue signature for rides with power and heart-rate data - Full 7-day stats with personal deltas and goal-focused coaching actions - Smarter next-ride recommendations based on recent load and intensity - Structured training plan tuned to your goal, current fitness, and remaining time - A weekly schedule built around the days you can ride, with today's session on your Dashboard - Today's workout: the day's recommended session as a structured workout, exportable as a FIT file to your bike computer - Training plan summaries with Chad's recommendations - All-time power curve across every duration from 1 second to 3 hours, with rider type and block comparison - Full fitness trend with fatigue and form curves, plus a taper projection to your goal event - Week-by-week training track with actual-vs-target longest-ride progress ### Private by design No account. No cloud. No subscription. All analysis runs on your phone, and your ride data never leaves it — the map included. Built-in backup and restore keeps you in control — your data is yours to keep, move, or delete. "Private" means both things: a coach of your own, and training data that stays yours. Download Chad and turn your next ride into coaching you can act on.
