Merge Birds is a calm little tapper about raising a backyard full of birds and turning their feathers into a small fortune. Start with two plain birds. Drag one onto the other and they merge into a better bird. Keep merging and your flock climbs from the OG bird into rare, strange, and frankly ridiculous species. Every bird sits around preening and dropping feathers, and those feathers become coins you spend on more birds. It builds on itself fast. The best part: your birds keep working when you close the app. Come back after lunch or after a full night of sleep and there is a pile of feathers waiting for you. You are never punished for having a life. When your backyard fills up, you move outward. You unlock new places to keep birds, and each one is worth more than the last: - The Backyard, where you start - The Farm - The Warzone - The Beach - The Cosmic Aviary - The Cosmic Void, for when you have basically won and want to keep going Every map runs its own flock at the same time, so the more places you own, the more feathers pour in at once. Move your strongest birds onto your richest map to squeeze out even more. Hit a wall? Rebirth. You trade your progress for a permanent boost that makes your next run much faster, then do it all again with more muscle behind every merge. There is plenty going on around the edges too: - Food drops. Feed a bird a chili pepper, a donut, some popcorn and more for short bursts of extra speed and value. - Daily rewards over a forgiving seven day streak. Miss a day and you step back one spot instead of losing everything. - Boosts you can bank and set off when it counts. - A Fortune Wheel and a drone that drops surprise birds and crates. - A very serious scientist bird who waddles in now and then, asks to take one of your birds "for science", and pays you well for it. Merge Birds is free to play, and you can get everything just by playing.
