Chrono String checks a chronograph string before it reaches your load. Compare two solves with What Changed?, the 6DOF solver is now validated against published results, and you can correct a reticle's data from your phone. Barrier Penetration rates rounds from published tests, and shots on steep slopes and in crosswinds are more accurate. CHRONO STRING Import a Garmin chronograph file (.fit or ShotView CSV) or paste your shot speeds. The app flags a low first shot, outliers and repeated readings before they reach your average, and asks you to confirm before it sets your muzzle velocity. Save the string to a load. WHAT CHANGED? Pick two saved solves and see every input that differs, old and new, and how much each one moved your elevation and windage hold at the distance you choose. VALIDATED 6DOF The full 6DOF solver now reproduces the published 6-DOF results in McCoy's Modern Exterior Ballistics, so spin, yaw and drift come from the bullet's own flight. It is no longer experimental, and its data editor reads coefficient tables the way published sources print them. CORRECT A RETICLE Spot a wrong number in a reticle's data? Correct it on your phone and the app uses it right away, marked as your correction. It is also sent to us anonymously, so we can improve the catalog for everyone. BARRIER PENETRATION FROM PUBLISHED TESTS Pick a reference round to see how U.S. Army urban-operations manuals rate it against walls, sandbags, car bodies and more, and which NIJ body-armor levels are certified to stop it. Where no published test covers a round, the app tells you so. TERMINAL BALLISTICS FROM YOUR LOAD Impact speed and energy come from your Calculator load, solved by the app's own engine at the range you choose, with a check against the minimum expansion speed your bullet's maker publishes. MORE ACCURATE ON SLOPES AND IN CROSSWINDS Steep uphill and downhill shots now account for how a head or tail wind meets the bullet on the slope, and for the air thinning or thickening as the bullet climbs or descends. Aerodynamic jump now moves the impact the right way in a crosswind: with a right-hand twist, a wind from the right raises it and a wind from the left lowers it. SOLVERS AND CORIOLIS 4DOF is now a true modified point-mass solver: it computes spin drift from the bullet's spin and flight. Pejsa now asks for a G1 or G7 BC. With Coriolis on, every tool either applies it or says why it can't (no position yet). ALSO NEW The Reticle Simulator shows the impact energy and writes holds in your angular unit, with the reticle's own unit beside them. The Target Library shows your own target photos. Export your bullet overrides as a CSV the import reads back. The reticles on your saved rifles download ahead, so they draw with no signal. Have a Doppler export from another radar? Send it to us and we'll add support within a week. A Report button on error messages opens a ready-to-send email to support. Settings lets you choose the decimal mark (Automatic, 6.8 or 6,8); until you do, numbers on screen use your region's mark, and numbers you type or search work with a comma or a period, so 6,5 reads the same as 6.5. The B-8 repair center shows at its true 10.5-inch size with its real rings, and more labels and target names appear in your language.
