New version 1.0.1 → 1.1

What's new: - Lens-aware metering. Pick a lens and the view roughly matches, switching to the telephoto (if available). Zoom is capped at 4x the native value of both lenses. An "APPROX" badge appears when your phone's cameras can't match the selected lens exactly (very wide or very long lenses). - Favorite film stocks. Swipe right on any stock to star it. Favorites pin to the top of the picker and still appear under their manufacturer. Custom stocks now sit at the bottom of the list. Also added Kodak Tmax P3200 and Ilford Delta 3200... because those should have been there day one. oops. - A few additional toggle options: 1) To stay in the meter view after you record a frame so you can log the next shot right away. 2) You can disable the match focal length feature 3) Format CSV with "Date at Start of Filename"- date_name.csv instead of name_date.csv. May remove the second option entirely in the future but for now... it's an option. - New type labels. Trying to shake off the AI look a little bit, even though I've been doing that look for years :/ - Delete a camera from its own screen. There's now a Delete button next to Add Lens, and it tells you how many lenses will go with it before you commit. - General UI cleanup and tweaks. - Lots of bug fixes

About

Film Pal is a light meter and digital notebook for helping you keep track of your film photography. METER YOUR EXPOSURE Metering runs on the EV (Exposure Value) system, which ties shutter speed and aperture together. The reading is based on your film speed, which is automatically calculated based on the loaded film stock. Set the either the desired aperture or shutter speed and Film Pal gives you the corresponding value, represented through intuitive dials. The meter supports nudging the reading by ±3 stops. Got more than one shot to take? MANAGE YOUR EQUIPMENT Manually add your cameras and lenses to your private Film Pal equipment library, or import your entire kit at once via an easy-to-understand CSV file. Tell Film Pal which lens you're shooting and it won't offer an aperture the lens can't reach. TRACK YOUR SHOTS Film Pal has a comprehensive list of available film stocks to pick from– or add your own. Each roll supports the usual ISO and frame counts, though you can customize to fit your own shooting needs. Add a camera from your equipment library and as you shoot you'll build a comprehensive digital data counterpart to your photos. Any frame can carry a note, and location is captured automatically. An optional quick capture button is perfect for shooting multiple pictures in quick succession- meter once and the quick capture will copy the settings to the next frame. After you finish the roll, export your data and move the roll to the in-app archive. PRIVATE BY DESIGN All data is stored exclusively on-device and nothing is ever shared with the developer or any other 3rd parties. No account to create, no network calls, no tracking. Geotagging frame captures is automatic, but can be disabled at the application level via preference.
