Or browse what's already happening and just show up. It's built for people who are new to a city and want to meet people fast, also just anyone who wants to get out more and stop doing things alone will get it. When you join an activity you get added to the group chat and can see the exact location. There's a men & women only mode for anyone who wants a safer way to meet people, and hosts can choose to approve who joins their activity before confirming them.
