About
Prepare for ASE A1–A8 with focused practice and automotive reference tools. STUDY ONE TEST AT A TIME • 445 practice questions across A1–A8, with answer explanations. • Select your A-tests in Settings to focus regular practice. • Track unique questions covered and answer accuracy by test. • Open focused practice from a progress row or review your weakest practiced area. GUIDES AND FLASHCARDS Read eight introductory study guides covering engine repair, automatic transmission, manual drivetrain, suspension and steering, brakes, electrical systems, HVAC and engine performance. Review 48 flashcards across eight decks. Study questions, guides and flashcards are currently in English. TIMED PRACTICE EXAMS Choose an A1–A8 test, work against a timer, flag questions and review missed answers afterward. Each session uses that test’s scored-question count and published time allowance. Official ASE certification exams add 10 unscored questions. Our practice sessions score every question and do not reproduce official questions or topic weighting. Practice results are study feedback, not a prediction of certification success. AUTOMOTIVE TOOLS Use the OBD-II code reference, gear ratio and horsepower/torque calculators. Pro adds compression ratio, tire-size comparison and bolt-torque reference tools. Bundled study materials and references work offline; purchasing and restoring access require an internet connection. FREE AND PRO Start with five practice questions per day and the free tools. Pro unlocks unlimited practice, the full guide and flashcard collections, timed exams and Pro tools. • Monthly subscription: 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers, followed by the monthly price displayed before purchase. • Annual subscription: one year of Pro access, billed annually. No free trial. • Lifetime purchase: a one-time purchase for Pro access. No free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Manage or cancel through your Apple account. Restore Purchases is available in Settings. INDEPENDENT EDUCATIONAL APP Not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by ASE. Questions are independently authored practice items, not official ASE test questions. Certification eligibility and requirements are set by ASE. Calculators and reference values are educational aids. Use the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications and procedures for actual service. A trouble code does not by itself identify a failed part.
