MaltIQ: Whisky Companion

About

MaltIQ is the AI-powered whisky companion that transforms how you discover, taste, collect, and invest in whisky. SCAN ANY BOTTLE IN SECONDS Point your camera at any whisky label. MaltIQ's advanced computer vision instantly identifies the bottle and shows you everything: tasting profile, market price, investment potential, and how well it matches your personal palate. Works with thousands of whiskies from Scotch to Japanese, Bourbon to Irish. SHELF SCANNER Point your camera at a shelf at home, in a bar or in a store. MaltIQ recognises the bottles and tells you which one to try, based on your personal taste profile. YOUR PERSONAL AI SOMMELIER Tell MaltIQ what you like — or let it learn from your tastings. Our AI analyzes your flavor preferences across peat, smoke, fruit, spice, and sweetness to recommend bottles you'll love. Every recommendation comes with a Match Score and a clear explanation of why it suits your taste. SHARED TASTING — TASTE TOGETHER Host live group tastings with up to 8 friends. Share a simple invite code, taste whiskies side by side, and see scores sync in real-time. AI suggests the optimal tasting order from light to heavy. Professional Murray Method scoring for every participant. Friends without a subscription join free with Guest Pass. After the session, discover the group favourite, the most divisive dram, and full rankings — all auto-saved to your journal. TASTING JOURNAL & WHISKY DNA Rate whiskies using the Murray Method: Nose, Palate, Finish, and Balance — each scored out of 25 for a total out of 100. Add tasting notes by text or voice. As you taste more, MaltIQ builds your unique Whisky DNA — a personal flavor profile across peat, smoke, fruit, spice, honey, and more. DIGITAL CELLAR Manage your entire collection in one place.
