Pro raises the library from 20 saved generations to 500 and backs it up to your own iCloud account, so it survives a new phone. PRIVACY, STATED PLAINLY No account. No sign-up. No analytics, no ad trackers, nothing sold or shared. To write a caption, SnapCaption sends a reduced-size copy of your photo to our server, which passes it to our AI provider. Before it leaves your device that copy is stripped of EXIF metadata — GPS location, camera model, and original timestamp never go anywhere. The copy is not stored on our servers and is not used to train AI models. Your original photo never leaves your phone. We ask your permission before any of that happens, and you can withdraw it at any time in Settings. SNAPCAPTION PRO Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Captions are now written by AI that actually looks at your photo. Version 1.0 assembled captions from templates, which meant every photo got a variation on the same lines. SnapCaption now sends your photo to a vision model that reads what's in the frame and writes about it specifically.
