Up & Down the River Scorer

About

You mastered the bidding. You won the tricks. Now prove it with a scorecard that doesn't look like it survived a spilled drink. Bugger It Scorer is the perfect companion for Up & Down the River — the classic card game of bold predictions, crushing defeats, and friendships tested one trick at a time. Simply set up your players, choose your rules, and let the app handle the maths while you handle the banter. No more squinting at scrunched-up paper, no more "I'm pretty sure that's a 7 not a 1", and no more heated debates about whose turn it is to deal. What it does: • Supports 3 to 8 players • Tracks bids and tricks for every round • Automatically calculates scores — including the dealer's forbidden bid rule • Follows the classic Up & Down sequence, with support for an early back-down • Optional rule variants including Reserve Trump Card and Maximum Hand Size • Beautiful score progression charts so you can relive every glorious comeback • Works completely offline — no account, no ads, no nonsense Whether you call it Up & Down the River, Up the Creek, or just Bugger It — this app has you covered. Deal the cards, not the paperwork.
