This is one of our biggest Autism Daily Skills updates yet. The app has been redesigned and expanded to make everyday learning more practical, visual, interactive and rewarding for children who benefit from step by step support while building essential life skills. Children can now tap, drag, match, choose, trace and practise real everyday tasks instead of simply watching instructions. Many activities have been rebuilt with larger touch targets, clearer graphics, voice guidance, gentle haptic feedback, improved sounds and more responsive controls. Water the Plant has received a major interactive upgrade. Children can move a watering can toward the soil, position the spout, watch water flow, see the soil absorb water and watch the plant grow. School Essentials has been expanded with picture matching, spoken instructions and word recognition for backpacks, notebooks, pencils, lunch boxes, water bottles and other familiar objects. Children learn not only what an object is but why it is useful, such as choosing sunscreen for sun protection, water when thirsty, a blanket for sitting on the grass or a trash bag for cleaning up. These activities strengthen functional vocabulary and real world understanding. Family and Relatives learning has also been improved. Children can practise recognising Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Brother, Sister and other family members using pictures, words and familiar family photos. Communication and social learning activities have been upgraded too, including AAC communication for children, Yes and No practice, greetings, telling your name, following instructions, identifying emotions and answering everyday questions. Tracing and early writing activities now provide clearer paths, larger practice areas and better touch control for letters, simple words and names. Time learning activities have also been improved with clearer clocks and easier interaction. Across the app, screen space is now used more effectively on iPhone and iPad. Learning areas are larger, unnecessary empty space has been reduced and navigation is clearer with improved Back controls. We have also reduced unnecessary distracting movement while keeping meaningful animations such as water flowing, plants growing and objects responding to touch.
