Sendbag is a notification inbox for your Apple Watch. Receive alerts from any source that can call a simple HTTP API. Sendbag supports end-to-end encryption: senders can encrypt the message body with your watch's public key before transmission, and only your watch can decrypt it. When end-to-end encryption is used, the plaintext is never visible to our servers. WHAT IT DOES • Receive push notifications on your Apple Watch from any HTTP-capable source • Optional end-to-end encryption with a per-device RSA-2048 key pair • Read and review your recent notification history on the watch • Runs as a standalone app on your wrist independent from your iPhone HOW IT WORKS When you install Sendbag and grant notification permission, the app generates a 25-character random device ID and a fresh RSA key pair. The private key stays on your watch (stored in the Keychain). Share your device ID (or the QR code in Settings) with whatever should be able to send you notifications. Senders make an HTTP request to our API with your device ID and a message. If they include an encrypted-key field, the message body is treated as ciphertext and decrypted on your watch using AES-GCM. Senders that don't encrypt fall back to a plain delivery mode.
