Coast: Focus Energy Timer

About

Coast is an energy-aware focus companion built for deep work without burnout. Inspired by Pomodoro — but smarter — Coast doesn't use a fixed timer for everyone. It reads how you're feeling right now and adapts when you should work, when you should rest, and how long each should be. HOW IT WORKS 1. Check in with your energy Before your session, tell Coast your energy level and stress. It takes seconds, and it shapes everything. 2. Build your session queue Add the tasks you want to tackle. Coast keeps it simple and distraction-free. 3. Start your session Dive into deep work. Your session timer lives in the Dynamic Island so you never have to leave your app to check the clock. 4. Get smarter break suggestions When it's time to rest, Coast tells you — not based on a fixed clock, but based on how you actually feel right now. In flow? Coast leaves you alone longer. Feeling drained? It suggests a break sooner, and makes it longer so you actually recover. 5. Re-evaluate after each break When you return, Coast checks in on your energy again. Your next work block adapts from there. WHY COAST IS DIFFERENT Most focus apps use the same rhythm for everyone: 25 minutes on, 5 minutes off — every single day, no matter how you feel. Coast adapts. Your energy and stress actually change the timing. So you stay productive without pushing past your limits. YOUR MASCOT KNOWS HOW YOU FEEL Coast's mascot reflects your current energy state — from flowing and in focus to drained and needing rest. A small, constant signal that the app is paying attention to you. LIVES IN YOUR DYNAMIC ISLAND Your session timer stays in the Dynamic Island while you work in other apps. Your focus, always visible.
