Video of any length: trim a clip as long as you like and save all of it. Sync to Audio: the effects pulse with the spikes in the sound, a beat, a clap, a slammed door. Turn on Sound to hear the clip while you edit. 4K is offered when the clip itself is 4K, so what you save is what you shot. Long videos tell you they will take a few minutes, and the screen stays on until they are done.

About
MODUL8 breaks photos and videos the way real hardware used to fail: a VHS tape losing its tracking, a tube out of convergence, a satellite feed losing lock, a codec guessing at missing blocks. It is not a filter pack. Each effect reads the picture it is given before it decides what to do, so the same settings give different results on different shots, and the order you stack them in changes the result. 29 EFFECTS Nineteen classics: Noise, Pixel Shift, RGB Split, Scanlines, Distortion, Corruption, Feedback, VHS, CRT, Chroma, Film, Crush, Interlace, Invert, Datamosh, Dither, Static, Sort and Sync. Ten more with Premium: Satellite, Ghosting, Slow Scan, Teletext, Fax, Repost, Webcam, Handheld, Magnet and Chewed. Every setting has its own level meter. Nothing is a single slider. VIDEO Open a clip and watch it play through your effects. Trim it to any length and save it at 1080p, or in 4K when the clip is 4K, with its sound. Turn on Sync to Audio and the effects hit with the beat. SETTINGS THAT MOVE Any setting can drift, step or sweep on its own, and loops and videos carry the movement. STAMPS AND MASKS Burn in a camcorder, digicam, VCR or CCTV date. Keep the subject of a photo clean and break only the background, or the other way round. PRESETS Nine built in, two Premium packs, Dead Air and Y2K, and your own saved stacks. PREMIUM Video, the ten new effects, settings that move, stamps, masks and the preset packs, plus exports at 2048 pixels and 4K and three-second loops. Monthly or yearly; the yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and the app shows prices in your own currency. Try any Premium feature on your own photo first: only saving asks. The 19 classic effects, layers and presets work without a subscription, and save at 1024 pixels. No ads. Everything is processed on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
