New version 1.3 → 1.4

What's new in 1.4: More to track — switch on U.S. National Parks (all 63, on a real map), the New Seven Wonders (a photo collage that fills in as you visit), and the temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (222, with visits, ordinance work, and want-to-go). Find them under More to Track. Fun facts — after each round of Mystery Country or Mystery State, three facts about the answer. Your lists follow you — iCloud sync is now on from the start, so a new phone or a second device fills in by itself. No account, no password; it uses your own iCloud. You can switch it off under iCloud Sync. Every visit has a year — a place's dates are simply the years you went, shown once per visit on the timeline. Washington, D.C. can be marked without counting toward the 50 states. A Visited / Lived legend on shared maps, accent-insensitive search in the pickers, and the map now frames the places you've been.

About

Where I've Been – Inclusive See your world, your way! Where I've Been – Inclusive is a simple, beautifully designed travel tracker that lets you mark the places you've visited and watch them light up on a clean world map. Unlike traditional travel apps, it lets you count whatever country, territory, or place matters to you. Whether you're a casual traveler, a global explorer, or someone who just loves geography, it gives you a more complete and personal view of your journey. Why "Inclusive"? Most travel apps only track UN-recognized countries. We think it's up to you to decide how to count the places you've been including Taiwan, Palestine and more. This app lets you acknowledge your lived experiences, not just particular geopolitical categories — and if we've missed somewhere, you can add it yourself. Features - See your world on a map Every place you've visited fills in with color on a clean, flat world map. Zoom in, tap any place to see its name, and mark it visited right there. - Go beyond countries Track U.S. states, Canadian provinces, Japanese prefectures, French departments, and regions of the U.K., Italy, Germany, Spain, Mexico, China, and Australia, each on its own map. Add the U.S. national parks, the New Seven Wonders, and the temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. - Plan where you're going next Star the places you want to go and see them on your map. - Remember every visit Add the year of each trip, how many times you've been, and where you've lived. A timeline shows your travels year by year. - Find places in your photos Get suggestions based on where your photos were taken. Your photos never leave your device. - Keep more than one list Track your own travels and keep separate lists for the people you love — a partner, a friend, or each of your kids. Give every list its own name, emoji, and color. - Share your map Turn your travels into a beautiful image showing everywhere you've been and how many countries you've reached — perfect for sharing with family and friends. - Play Mystery Country and Mystery State A new outline every day, five guesses to name it, and three fun facts once you have. - Add a widget Home Screen widgets in two sizes show your count and your map. Lock Screen widgets show the count at a glance. - Mark, add, and reorder Choose from an inclusive list that better reflects the real world, add your own places if we missed something, and arrange your list exactly how you like it. - Clean, minimalist design Simple to use, pleasant to look at, and focused entirely on your travel story. - Your data stays yours No accounts. No tracking. No analytics. Your lists sync through your own iCloud, and nothing is ever sent to us. Perfect for travelers, families, students, and global explorers. Private by Design Where I've Been – Inclusive collects no personal data. Your lists are saved on your device and, unless you switch it off, kept in sync through your own iCloud so they follow you to a new phone. Nothing is ever sent to us. Photo suggestions are worked out on your device, and your photos are never uploaded. Celebrate the places that shaped you! Every region you visit adds a chapter to your story. This app helps you see and honor all of them.
