Route mapping: Snicket

About

Ever walked through a new city, explored a hidden neighborhood, or wandered without a plan — and wished you could revisit the exact path later? Snicket makes that possible. Snicket is a route mapping app for traveling that records the paths you take in real time and lets you save, retrace, organize, and share them. Perfect for city breaks, long walks abroad, everyday exploring, or discovering new corners of your hometown. RECORD YOUR JOURNEY WITH ONE TAP Start walking and Snicket quietly captures your entire route — distance, duration, starting point, endpoint, and the exact roads you followed. Your map becomes a memory you can return to anytime. RETRACE ANY ROUTE RECORDED BY YOU OR SHARED BY SOMEONE ELSE Want to relive a trip, revisit a favorite area, or lead someone along the same route? Snicket guides you from start to finish, checking all the pins along the route. MARK PLACES YOU WANT TO REMEMBER BY ADDING PINS ALONG THE WAY Cafés you loved, hidden streets, viewpoints, landmarks or anything worth revisiting. Your explorations become a personal travel map. ORGANIZE YOUR PATHS INTO COLLECTIONS “Paris Weekend,” “Japan 2025,” “Old Town Walks,” “Best Streets to Explore.” Your travel history finally has structure. SHARE YOUR ROUTES INSTANTLY Send a simple link and your friends can import your route with all details intact — start/end points, distance, duration, pins, and complete map shape. Or if you prefer the classic way, export your routes as GPX files, save them on your devices, or send them to friends and family. PRIVACY FIRST Your routes stay on your device unless you choose to share them. No tracking. No accounts. No analytics. Your travels belong to you.
