Mangasteen

About

Mangasteen is a manga reader built around sources you control. Mangasteen doesn't come with content of its own. You connect it to sources: small, sandboxed scripts from an extension repository you choose. On first launch, it offers a recommended repository so you can start browsing and reading in under a minute, and you can add, update, or remove repositories whenever you like, without waiting for an app update. READ THE WAY YOU LIKE • Three reading modes: Webtoon (vertical strip), Manga (right-to-left), and Comic (left-to-right) • Pinch-to-zoom in every mode, with pages decoded at full resolution • Pull past the end of a chapter to load the next one — no buttons in the way • Chapters are marked read only when you actually finish them A LIBRARY THAT STAYS ORGANISED • Save series to your library and sort them into your own categories • See new chapters across everything you follow in the Updates feed • Multi-select to move, mark, download, or remove many series at once • Reading history that picks up exactly where you left off READ OFFLINE • Download chapters in the background; downloads keep going after you leave the app • A visible queue you can cancel with a tap MADE FOR YOU • Light, Dark, and System themes • Spicy Filter: hide adult-tagged titles from browsing with one switch (on by default) • Full backup and restore of your library, history, and settings • No account, no sign-in, no ads Mangasteen hosts no content. Sources describe how to read from the platforms they point at, and each one declares which hosts it may contact. Anonymous crash reports help fix bugs and can be turned off in Settings.
