Gay Shabbat

About

Don’t be fooled by the name—Gay Shabbat is way more than just Shabbats. What started as a Friday night dinner turned into friendships made, life partners found, mixers, Havdalahs, happy hours, and now… an app. With the Gay Shabbat app, you’ve got Jewish Pride in your pocket. Meet other LGBTQ+ Jews near you—and across the world. Whether you’re fresh out of Birthright, new to town, looking for queer community, a late-night, or planning your next Passover Seder, the app helps you discover your people wherever you are. Here’s what you can do: • Browse a grid of verified LGBTQ+ Jews worldwide—sorted by distance • Filter by intention (dating, friendship, etc.), relationship status, gender, sexuality, and more • View profiles with photos, bios, ethnicity, hometown, pronouns, etc. • Send connection requests and message once accepted This isn’t a dating app. It’s not just a friend-finder. It’s something bigger: your LGBTQ+ Jewish universe. Gay Shabbat is building a global umbrella for LGBTQ+ Judaism—no matter your background, label, or level of observance. It’s the intersection of queerness and Judaism, without compromise. A space where you can be fully, proudly both. Gay Shabbat is exclusively for LGBTQ+ Jews. Everyone is verified before gaining access to keep the space trusted and safe. And yes—group messages, RSVPs, event alerts, and more are coming so soon. Welcome to your people. Welcome to Jewish Pride. Welcome to Gay Shabbat.
