About
Zhan is a BaZi and Four Pillars workspace for building natal charts, examining luck cycles, organizing case notes, and consulting classical references. [Build a Four Pillars chart] Enter a birth date, time, and place to calculate the year, month, day, and hour pillars. Review Heavenly Stems, Earthly Branches, hidden stems, Ten Gods, Five Elements, Na Yin, void branches, Twelve Growth Phases, symbolic stars, and the Day Master in one chart. [Follow timing from Da Yun to the current day] Move from the natal chart through Da Yun, annual, monthly, daily, and hourly layers. The detailed chart keeps the active timing pillars beside the natal pillars, so combinations, clashes, punishments, harms, breaks, generation, control, support, and transformation can be checked in context. [Choose the calculation method] For supported birthplaces in China, you can apply true solar time. You can also choose whether annual and monthly timing changes by day or at the exact solar-term moment, select the Taiji reference point, and control which branch, combination-status, and hidden-stem relationships appear in the detailed chart. [Keep profiles and case notes] Save charts for yourself, family, friends, or research cases, then add notes to each profile. Use the built-in historical figures as reference cases, or search for possible birth dates from a selected Four Pillars combination. [Read terms and source texts] The Library covers Ten Gods, symbolic stars, Na Yin, and the Twelve Growth Phases. It also includes classical Chinese texts such as San Ming Tong Hui, Di Tian Sui, Zi Ping Zhen Quan, and Yuan Hai Zi Ping, making it easier to compare a chart term with its traditional source. [Use Home Screen widgets] Select a saved profile to view current Da Yun, annual, monthly, and daily timing, or a seven-day overview, without rebuilding the chart. BaZi content is provided for study, cultural reference, and personal reflection. It is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
