What's New in Version 1.20.0 One Bake, From Plan to Loaf The two bake features are now one Bake, with its own tab. - A Bake Tab: Pick one of your recipes, one shared with you, or a house recipe such as a 70% whole wheat, so you can bake on day one without writing a formula first. - Plan Before Step One: Choose "Ready by a time" and the app works backwards from when you want bread to when the levain goes on, or choose "Start now". The whole bake is laid out before you commit. If a plan would feed the levain in the middle of the night, it says so. - Timings That Follow Your Kitchen: Enter your room temperature in °C or °F and ferment times scale to it. Set quiet hours and alerts stay out of them. - Already Mid-Bake?: Start from the step you are on. Say when bulk started or the dough went into the fridge, and the bake picks up from there. - Every Ferment Step Counts Down: Each rest shows the time left and what really ends it. The clock is an estimate, and the dough decides. - Log What the Dough Did: When a rest ends, log the rise, dough temperature, a photo or a note. You are never asked while your hands are in the dough. - The Recipe Is One Tap Away: Open the full recipe from the plan and during the bake. When the Loaf Is Out - A Recap About the Loaf: Photograph it, rate it, note what you would change next time, and analyse the crumb from the same screen. "What you actually did" shows where the bake departed from the recipe, and offers to update the recipe after asking you first. - The Loaf Card: Share a finished bake as a card with the loaf, its hydration, total time and attempt number, plus a "Bake this loaf" link for whoever receives it. It works with or without a photo. - My Bakes and Attempts: Every bake, old and new, is under My Bakes, grouped by recipe. Compare Bakes shows what changed between attempts. - One Home Tile: Start a bake, resume the one that is running, or add your crumb and share the loaf you just finished. "Bake again" takes you straight back to your last recipe. Sharing - Sharing a recipe and sharing a bake now work the same way: consent the first time, and stop sharing whenever you like. Your name on a shared page is opt-in. Fixed - Tapping a finished bake's Live Activity could open the recap of your previous bake of the same recipe. It now opens the one you just finished. - Linking Apple to a guest account left you on the guest tier, and linking Google could lose your name. Both now upgrade properly. - At larger text sizes the bottom bar cut its labels short. They now show in full. Bakes you logged with the old Baking Process are all still in My Bakes, and one in progress can still be finished.
