We have been waiting a long time to write this one. Natural English GO runs on iPad from today, with a layout of its own, and the same purchase covers both. A sidebar instead of a tab bar, Vocabulary in up to three columns from the 13-inch Pro down to the mini, and the games in two panels: the challenge on one side, what you are learning on the other. It follows the iPad as you turn it and as you resize the window. Two voices have joined Vocabulary. Nova, your tutor, speaks between words, every four to eight. Orion introduces about one word in ten: what kind of word it is, what it is made of, what it sounds like. They hand over to each other. In car mode they carry the session with your hands on the wheel, on autoplay they talk while you read the card, and in silence they appear as text with nothing playing. With Premium you choose the voice Nova speaks in. Vocabulary itself is a vertical feed now. One word per screen, swipe up for the next, the same gesture as the welcome. Saving no longer depends on a side: the favorite heart in the row below, or a double tap on the card. And the words are ready before you reach them. The audio of what is coming is already on the device, so a word sounds the moment you land on it instead of after a wait. Stars fill a quarter at a time. Every time you meet a word it moves a little, wherever you met it. It stops a quarter short of the third star on purpose: that last quarter is yours to give, because only you know whether you have the word. Home opens with the next step already chosen. Three short things for today, in any order, plus the word of the day and something to read. Nothing carries over to tomorrow and nothing counts what you did not do. Progress adds two cards for today: the words you met and the topics you touched. The 84 topics now sit in the areas they belong to, on a map of what you have opened. Twenty are open on the free plan, and a locked topic shows you what it holds from the inside instead of just a padlock. The welcome offer shows three plans instead of two, with Subscribe always within reach at the bottom. More of the app speaks your language: the level under the stars on every word, the line after you finish an article, and dates, times and weekday names, which used to follow the device even when the app was set to something else. One app, two screens, the same words. We are very happy with this one.

About
10,000 English words organized by CEFR level: B1, B2, C1 and C2. No basics. Every word with 5 real sentences, IPA transcription and native audio. Stuck at intermediate for years? It isn't your fault: you're missing words, not grammar. Around 2,000 words gets you 80 % of a conversation. Reaching 95 % doesn't take another 200 words — it takes 10,000. That is exactly what's inside. IF YOU CAN ALREADY SAY "HELLO", THIS APP STARTS WHERE THE OTHERS LEAVE YOU No greetings, no colors, no animals. There is no A1 or A2 content, and that's deliberate. The dictionary starts at B1 and runs to C2. B1 2,500 words B2 3,000 words C1 2,500 words C2 2,000 words ----------------- 10,000 words START FREE, NO ACCOUNT AND NO CARD 500 hand-picked words, from B1 to C2 and across 20 of the 84 topics, each with its sentences, its IPA and its quizzes. All three games, in full. 12 articles with audio. No sign-up, no trial that expires, and no card to get started. EVERY WORD, COMPLETE • 5 real example sentences (50,000 sentences in total) • IPA phonetic transcription on 100 % of entries • Synonyms, derivatives and word families (almost 13,000 derivatives) • 5 quiz questions per word: 50,000 questions with 4 options • Built-in translation in one tap, without leaving the card THREE STARS PER WORD, 84 TOPICS TO CONQUER Every word is earned with three stars: getting it right once isn't knowing it. The conquest map shows all 84 topics, how far you are in each and the medal that stays when you finish one. And the daily rings — minutes studied, XP earned and active days — tell you at a glance whether today went the way you meant it to. 84 TOPICS, INCLUDING THE 2027 ONES Artificial intelligence in everyday life · Remote work and digital nomads · Climate change and the environment · Mental health and emotional well-being · Investing and fintech · Cybersecurity and privacy · The creator economy · Sustainable living · Robotics, VR and emerging tech · Video games and esports · Media literacy · Digital well-being — and 72 more. The English that actually turns up in a meeting, a podcast or on LinkedIn in 2027. LANGUAGE IN USE, NOT ISOLATED WORDS Almost 3,000 units that aren't single words: phrasal verbs, idioms, collocations, connectors and discourse markers, academic vocabulary and formal and informal register. It is exactly what the B2, C1 and C2 exams assess. THREE WAYS TO PRACTISE Word quiz, definition quiz and Mind the Gap (78 rounds). AUDIO AND READING 8 AI voices in three accents: American, British and Australian. Topic articles with audio, two new every week (12 free). Car Mode for hands-free listening. REVIEWED WORD BY WORD All 84 topics went through a full review: 4,076 entries improved and 1,674 examples rewritten. This is not content generated and shipped without looking. NO TRICKS No ads. No hearts or energy to block you. The price is visible before you hand over any card. Premium unlocks all 10,000 words, the topic articles with audio, the 8 voices and the full statistics.
