We’ve been busy behind the scenes improving the app for all users in one of our largest updates since the original release of the app. Here’s what you can expect when updating: - Introducing Right Here! See active alerts for your current county, with location updates when you return to CAR and privacy built-in. - Also introducing Keep Me Posted! Follow an alert from your Lock Screen or Dynamic Island and quickly return to it in CAR. - The Home page now organizes alerts more clearly across Right Here, My Areas, and Active Alerts, with improved filtering, sorting, and alert counts. - Search is more reliable, with better handling for quick searches, clearing searches, refreshing, pagination, and failed loads. - Notifications and alert links now handle opening the correct alert more reliably, whether CAR is open, in the background, or fully closed. - Notification preferences save and sync more reliably across announcements, events, and locations. - Alert pages include improved audio controls, timestamps, and copyable EAS protocol data. - Settings has a refreshed layout, with clearer notification preferences, app update status, and easier access to CAR support. - We’ve made additional performance, stability, and UI improvements for newer iOS versions and squashed bugs to make the CAR experience better for you.
