About
Young's Literal Translation (YLT) is a Bible translation by Robert Young, first published in 1862. It is known for its strict adherence to the original Hebrew and Greek texts, offering a highly literal and precise rendering of scripture. The YLT preserves the verb tenses and grammatical structures of the original languages, which may result in unconventional English phrasing. It is favored by scholars and readers seeking a deeper understanding of the Bible's linguistic and cultural nuances without interpretive bias.
