Photo Backup copies photos and videos from your iPhone to a computer you choose, over your trusted local network. ■ Your computer, your files • Send photos and videos to a shared folder through the Files app, or to an HTTP WebDAV server. • Use optional Basic Authentication with WebDAV; shared-folder access does not expose your computer password to Photo Backup. • Follow built-in setup guides for Windows, macOS, Linux/Samba, and Nginx WebDAV. ■ Organized automatically • Sort files by capture date into YYYYMMDD folders. • Choose space-friendly JPG export with EXIF and GPS metadata preserved, or keep HEIC and RAW photos in their original format. • Keep videos in their original format. ■ Pick up where you left off • Start from the earliest photo, today, a specific date, or a specific photo or video. • Resume from the last completed position with a separate checkpoint for each backup destination. ■ Built for careful backups • Skip same-name files with matching sizes. • Pause on size conflicts instead of silently overwriting files. • Optionally back up the paired video from Live Photos.
