Knowing God

About

Knowing God – A Journey of Faith with the Truth of Scripture On the journey of knowing God, the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, the Athanasian Creed, the Belgic Confession (1561), the Heidelberg Catechism (1563), and the Canons of Dort (1619) play pivotal roles. This app provides the complete texts of these creeds and confessions, all derived from and subject to the authority of the Bible. These creeds and confessions serve essential purposes: They help answer the question, “What do the Reformed churches believe and teach?” They establish a common standard that unites the members of the church in a shared confession. They also provide a doctrinal guideline for church office-bearers and help the church guard against false teaching and uphold the purity of biblical truth (2 Timothy 1:13–14). New Features In addition to the classic creeds and confessions, this app now includes powerful tools to help believers grow in daily faith and biblical understanding: - Daily Devotion – Based on the Heidelberg Catechism, each week provides a faith-based theme with daily Scriptures, reflections, and prayers. - Bible Dictionary – A bilingual (Chinese-English) reference of key terms, names, places, and books of the Bible, organized by category for easy lookup and study. - Regular Articles – Theological reflections, church history insights, practical faith applications, and responses to contemporary issues—all designed to help believers grow in both knowledge and devotion. Key Features: - Full texts of the Apostles’ Creed, Nicene Creed, Athanasian Creed, and more - Detailed introductions and explanations of the Belgic Confession, Heidelberg Catechism, Canons of Dort, and Westminster Confession of Faith - Weekly devotion plan with daily Scripture, reflection, and prayer - Chinese-English Bible Dictionary for convenient study and sharing - Clean, user-friendly interface for easy reading and navigation - Regularly updated articles on church, theology, and Christian living We believe this app will be a valuable companion in your study of God’s Word and your walk of faith.
