About

Frequency analyzer for musicians, audio engineers, and the audio-curious. Frequency Analyzer turns your iPhone into a complete real-time audio toolkit — see exactly what frequencies are in any sound, in true engineering accuracy, with zero setup. LIVE SPECTRUM The live audio spectrum analyzer paints every frequency from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, frame by frame, so you can watch sound move. Switch to Waterfall view to see frequency content evolve over time — perfect for hunting down a buzz in your room or finding the resonant frequency of a speaker. Tap any peak to lock a marker on it. As a pure spectrum analyzer it shows you the dominant tone in big, easy numbers. PITCH METER Need to know exactly what note you're playing? The pitch meter is a high-precision frequency meter that detects any frequency in Hz with cents-of-a-semitone accuracy. Built-in tunings for guitar, bass, ukulele, and violin. Use it as a chromatic tuner, a vocal tuner, or just as a pure sound frequency analyzer when you need to identify a tone in the air. LOUDNESS METER Switch the meter into Loudness mode and Frequency Analyzer becomes a calibrated decibel meter with A-weighted, C-weighted, or Z-weighted readings — the same modes you'd find on a professional sound level meter. Track peak and average dB across a session. Use it to check whether your room is too loud, your gear is too hot, or the office really does need a quieter coffee machine. TONE GENERATOR The built-in tone generator covers 20 Hz to 20 kHz with sine, square, triangle, and saw waveforms. Send any frequency to your speakers in seconds — handy for testing studio monitors, finding speaker rattles, referencing a pitch, or feeding a signal into the spectrum analyzer for calibration. LOG SWEEP The log frequency sweep slides smoothly from 20 Hz to the top of human hearing in 5, 15, 30, or 60 seconds. Pair it with the audio spectrum analyzer in another room to find weak driver frequencies, sympathetic resonances, or "the one" buzz that's been driving you mad. HEARING TEST The 8 kHz to 20 kHz hearing test tells you the highest frequency you can still hear and gives a quick age-related estimate. Use headphones for accurate results. RECORD AND REPLAY Capture 10 seconds of audio at any time. The replay engine plays it back through the same FFT pipeline so you can analyze the frequency content of a moment that already passed — replay it in the audio frequency analyzer view at full resolution. SESSIONS Every analysis session is saved automatically — dominant frequency, min, max, average, peak dB. Look back at what your room sounds like, how high you sang, or how loud last night really was. WHY FREQUENCY ANALYZER • Pure audio engineering accuracy — Hann-windowed FFT at 44.1 kHz • Real-time, low-latency rendering • Works fully offline, no account, no subscription, no ads • Clean, focused dark UI built for the iPhone • Five tools in one frequency analyzer: spectrum, meter, generator, sweep, hearing test
