Writing Room

About

Write daily, hone your craft, meet new collaborators, learn from the best teachers in the world, and become the writer you’ve always dreamed of in a thriving creative community you can call home. If you’re a writer — or have always wanted to be one — you’ve found your place. So many stories never make it to the page, because so many writers live their whole life with their stories stuck inside them. One of the most pervasive lies facing writers’ is that writing is an activity done in isolation. That the writer must struggle alone with their work, and only once it is perfect are they allowed to share their work. If we have learned anything from the incredible works that have come out of the greatest writing movements, partnerships, and even Hollywood writing rooms, it’s that not only does writing not have to be completed in isolation, but collaboration and exchanging feedback can increase this art’s transforming power. Join the thousands of writers who have made it a daily practice to write using prompts designed to help you overcome writer’s block, excuses, and perfectionism. Our community offers gatherings like silent writing rooms, member readings, and author-led book clubs. Expand your writing toolbox by co-creating with the greatest writing and creativity teachers in the world. Our approach focuses on participant-driven learning experiences designed to help our writers go deeper into their self-discovery and mastery.
