About
Think of NYU Safe Ride as your safe alternative to get to and from home. Book an on-demand ride on the app and our technology will find you a ride home. We will pair you with other people headed your way. No detours, no delays. How it works: - Use the app to book rides to and from points on the map. - Get picked up at your door. - Share your ride with others. - Save time and reduce carbon emissions. What we’re about: SHARED. Our algorithm matches people headed in the same direction. This means you’re getting the convenience and comfort of a private ride with the efficiency of a shared one. SUSTAINABLE. Sharing rides reduces the number of vehicles on the roads, bringing down congestion and CO2 emissions. With a couple of taps, you get to do your part to make your city a little bit greener and cleaner, every time you ride. FREE Rides are totally free. Enough said. SAFETY Safe Ride provides you with a safe alternative to walking to/from home by yourself late at night. Loving your experience so far? Throw us a 5-star rating. You’ll have our eternal gratitude.
