About
Atabaque is an offline video reference for musicians exploring the hand drum’s role in Capoeira and Brazilian rhythm practice. Start with an introduction to the instrument, positioning, care, sound troubleshooting, and callus care. Continue with basic hand strokes, then explore traditional and contemporary Capoeira patterns, Barravento, Afro and Afro-Brazilian rhythms, Maculelê, Samba, and six improvisation examples. Control every video at your pace: pause, seek, change playback speed, mirror the view, and save useful clips to Favorites. FEATURES • 23 focused video references in five collections • Basics, setup and care, strokes, rhythms, and improvisations • Pause, seeking, speed control, and mirroring • Favorites for quick return • Full offline access • Universal design for iPhone and iPad • Ten interface and content languages This app is a reference library with introductory lessons, not a complete progressive course.
