About
WorkWise Timesheet is a free mobile app from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division that helps employers and employees track work hours and calculate pay. Use WorkWise Timesheet to record regular work hours and breaks and calculate overtime pay at one and one-half times (1.5) the regular rate of pay for hours worked over 40 in a workweek. The app provides a simple way to maintain time and pay information, as well as access to wage and hour compliance resources. WorkWise Timesheet does not currently account for all pay and workplace situations, including tips, commissions, bonuses, deductions, holiday pay, weekend pay, shift differentials, or pay for regular days of rest. The app also provides access to Wage and Hour Division resources, including information about the Payroll Audit Independent Determination (PAID) program and other compliance assistance resources. Disclaimer: The U.S. Department of Labor provides WorkWise Timesheet as a public service. The regulations and related materials available through the app are intended to enhance public access to information about Department of Labor programs. The app does not address every situation that may arise in the workplace, and information may not always reflect the most recent official publication or update.
