About
Blanks shows you a definition and four words. Drag the right word into the hole in the paper. Get it right and a tick appears; get it wrong and you try again. After every right answer, Blanks shows what all four words mean, so the wrong choices teach you something too. Hold any of them to look it up in the dictionary on your iPhone or iPad. • Over 8,000 English words, with definitions from WordNet • No repeats until you have seen the whole list; words you miss come back sooner • Drag the words, or switch to tapping them • Your best streak is kept • No ads and no account; your progress stays on your device Want more practice with the words you get wrong? More Blanks adds a review mode for your mistakes, a list of your recent words, and your progress. Word definitions from WordNet 3.0, Princeton University. The developer is not associated with WordNet or Princeton.
