About
Is your VPN really on right now? VPN Detector answers in two seconds: it checks your network for an active VPN tunnel, then shows the public IP, country, city and ISP that websites currently see. If they match your real ones, your VPN is off. No account, no sign-up. WHAT YOU GET FREE ◆ Instant verdict: Protected or Unsafe, with the reason ◆ Public IP check: the address the internet sees (partly masked in the free tier) ◆ Location and ISP behind that IP: country, city, provider ◆ Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets with a one-tap refresh ◆ Your own labels and colours for the ON and OFF states VPN DETECTOR PRO ◆ Full, unmasked public IP in the app and in every widget ◆ Live map: your GPS position versus your IP location, with the route drawn between them ◆ All three app themes: Catalina, Monterey and Sonoma ◆ Check history: every IP check from the app and the widgets, kept on this device ◆ No ads Pro is one subscription, yearly or 3-monthly. The free version shows ads; watch one to unlock everything for five minutes. HOW DETECTION WORKS 1. The app looks for an active tunnel interface on your device (VPN, IPsec, PPP). 2. It asks one geolocation service for the public IP of your current connection. 3. It compares the two and shows the verdict, the IP and the location. That is the whole pipeline. No account and no server of our own. Ad requests go to Google only in the free version. GOOD TO KNOW ◆ This is a diagnostic tool. It is not a VPN and does not change your connection. ◆ Widgets refresh on the schedule iOS allows. Tap the refresh button on the widget, or open the app, for an instant check. ◆ The app checks IP exposure. It does not run DNS or WebRTC leak tests. ◆ Works on iPhone and iPad, in English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Arabic, Turkish and Persian. WHO IT IS FOR ◆ Anyone who pays for a VPN and wants proof that it is working ◆ Travellers on hotel and airport Wi-Fi ◆ Remote workers who must stay on the company VPN ◆ Anyone for whom a silently dropped VPN is a real problem SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS VPN Detector Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (1 year or 3 months). Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
