In this laboratory, you will find configurations of pulleys as a block and tackle, a…, a … along with other elements including a digital balance, a stand for the counterweight and the masses of the counterweight. You will need to calculate the mass of the counterweight required to keep the system in equilibrium. To do so, you will need to carry out the force analysis needed for the different configurations of the pulleys.
