About

Check your heart rate using just your phone camera. Free, unlimited readings. No chest strap, no watch, no extra hardware. Heart racing, pounding or fluttering and you want a number right now? Take a reading the moment it happens, note how you felt, and build a history you can show your doctor. HOW IT WORKS Rest a fingertip over the camera, hold still, and your beats per minute appear after a few seconds. That is the whole process. WHAT YOU GET • Free with unlimited recordings • Beats per minute in seconds, anytime, anywhere • Heart rate variability (HRV) • VO2 max estimate • Resting and active readings tracked over time • Training zones calculated and saved automatically • Detailed history with simple, readable graphs • Notes on each reading, so you can record how you felt • Export and share your data • Apple Health integration, readings save automatically • Apple Watch support • Works with no additional hardware KEEP A RECORD WORTH SHOWING A single reading tells you very little. A pattern tells you a lot. AccuRate keeps every measurement, so when something feels off you can look back, spot how often it happens, and export the history for your GP instead of trying to describe it from memory. WHAT IS A NORMAL RESTING HEART RATE? According to the Mayo Clinic, a normal resting heart rate for adults is 60 to 100 beats per minute. Many things move that number, including activity, fitness, body size and emotion. A lower resting rate generally suggests more efficient heart function and better cardiovascular fitness. Speak to your doctor if your resting rate is consistently above 100 bpm, or below 60 bpm when you are not a trained athlete. HEART RATE TRAINING ZONES Zones are worked out from your maximum heart rate, using definitions similar to those in Fitbit trackers. AccuRate calculates and saves your zone on every reading. • REST, up to 50% of max. Your resting range. • FAT BURN, 50 to 70%. Recovery and warm ups. A higher share of calories burned comes from fat. • CARDIO, 70 to 85%. Where most of your main training should sit. • PEAK, above 85%. Short, intense intervals to build speed and performance. UNLOCK EVERYTHING • 7 day free trial • Cancel anytime from your iPhone Settings IMPORTANT • AccuRate is a wellness app. It is not a medical device and must not be used as one. • It does not diagnose any condition. • If you have a medical condition, or you are worried about your heart, always speak to your GP. • By using this app you agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy: https://www.oxford-fitness.com/terms-of-use.html https://www.oxford-fitness.com/privacy.html
