About
SoundShield turns your Apple Watch into a simple, always-ready high-frequency sound tool designed to help keep mosquitoes away. With one tap, SoundShield starts a continuous high-frequency sound that mosquitoes may dislike. The sound keeps playing in the background until you stop it, making it easy to use when you are outdoors, commuting, taking a break, or spending time in places where mosquitoes may be around. The sound is a high-frequency tone that many people may not hear clearly. However, some people, especially younger people under their thirties, may be able to hear it. How to use SoundShield: Open SoundShield on your Apple Watch. Choose a mode: Daily, Transit, or Rest. Adjust the shield volume if needed. Tap Start Shield to begin playback. Lower your wrist or switch apps. The sound can continue in the background. Tap Stop Shield when you want to end the session. Optionally set an auto-stop timer for 5, 15, 30, or 60 minutes. Choose the mode that fits your moment: Daily provides a balanced high-frequency sound for everyday use. Transit offers a stronger setting for outdoor or commuting situations. Rest gives you a softer, lower-volume session for quieter moments. You can also track your session count and total listening time, reset your stats anytime, and add the SoundShield complication to your watch face for quick access whenever you need it.
