Updated for the 2027 Eclipses. Another update will likely be pushed in June. The Where tab is now integrated with Apple Maps which will allow eclipse location planning without leaving the App. All of the future eclipses supported by this program now have their limits displayed User input and display has been completely redesigned to make it easier to use for non eng_US customers. Date and time displays use the Region configuration. All input numbers are in region formatting. The program now uses signed numbers in degree mode. To change the sign use the ± button above the keyboard. Note that on an iPad it may require clicking the field twice to get the full keyboard (where the ± button is located) to appear

This uses the algorithms developed over the past 150 years along with the best information available about the locations of sun, moon, and earth to predict when an eclipse will occur at a particular location on the earth. In addition the prediction parameters are updated for the latest predictions by IERS. This is useful to find where to go, where to look, and how the moon will move across the sun. It also provides the sunrise/set times for the location
