Our audioguides (formerly “AOYO Audioguides”) are GPS-controlled audio guides for smartphones: perfect for road trips. This way, you always have your tour guide with you, as the app tells you interesting, entertaining, and exciting facts about the country and its people.   Simply install the app on your smartphone and turn on location services. The app uses GPS to detect where you are on your trip. Your tour guide will tell you interesting facts about your destination through your car's speakers – offline and without an internet connection. Our AOYO audio guides for self-drive tours offer much more than a conventional travel guide: In addition to facts and background information about places and sights, the guide app provides exciting and entertaining background information about the country and its people, insider tips, regional studies, history, culture, curiosities, and special features—all along your entire itinerary throughout the country! Our audio guides have been compiled by experienced tour guides and will accompany you on your next rental car trip. Installation and use are very simple: - Individual guides can be purchased within the app (or activated with a voucher code, if available). - Once purchased, the guide can be used as often as you like. - Updates can be downloaded at any time. - Audio files can be played GPS-controlled or manually. - Once downloaded, the guides can be used completely offline.
