Who doesn’t want a storeroom full of clothes and lipstick? With God and a supportive husband by my side, my dream has finally come to fruition. Our Store and Cosmetic Line were born from a love of fashion, a need of creative expression on a larger scale, fear of complacency and a strong desire to create a new legacy for our family. After God, our family is the most important thing to us, especially our granddaughter, Kobi Ann. Our goal is simple~ Empower and Inspire "You" to express your own creative style through fashion. We want to bring confidence and happiness to a woman's day. Sometimes just having the right outfit is all a woman needs to turn a bad day into a good one, to give a woman the confidence she needs going into an interview or to give that stay at home mom a reason to smile after that rare moment she treats herself. Instead of choosing an education in fashion, I chose to get a Masters of Business Administration. I have over 20 years of retail and sales experience. I feel that the best lessons in life are learned through exploration and experience. January 2016, my employer of almost 20 years quit me and told me that my last day of work would 3/31/16. I had two choices at that point, to take the road most traveled or the road less traveled. I feared working for someone for the rest of my life more than anything in the world. In life, you choose either security or freedom and I wanted both. So, in those 90 days my husband and I plotted the store. We found a small store front and made the jump. We learned so much during our first year in business. It is hard to run your own business. There are no 9-5 hours here. It is literally at least 65-70 hours a week of nonstop working, but you are free. No doubt, it has been the most challenging and fulfilling experience of my life. A notorious workaholic, I live for my store and for helping my customers find that perfect outfit. You cannot walk in my store without seeing me in it. From the way EdgyChic looks to the clothes that are picked...my soul is on display. We are beyond grateful to have you shop with us and always want your experience to be a good one. No, a great one. I try on pretty much everything that we offer to give insight on items that run big or small (tough job, ha!).
