About
A QR code hides where it really goes until you tap it. That is exactly what scammers count on — QR phishing ("quishing") has exploded, and a fake code on a parking meter or a restaurant table looks identical to a real one. Scout reads the code, then checks the link before you open it. The check runs on your phone. Your scans are not uploaded, not sold, and not tracked. SCAN SAFELY • Instant QR and barcode scanning — point and go • Every link is checked before you tap it • Catches lookalike domains, like "paypa1.com" pretending to be a real brand • Flags payment links, unsecured connections and shortened URLs • Shows you the full destination in plain language, so you decide • Works offline — the safety check never leaves your device MAKE YOUR OWN CODES • Wi-Fi codes — guests connect without typing a password • Contact cards (vCard) — share your details with one scan • Menu and link codes for your table, window or flyer • Plain text, and more • Add your logo and brand colours (Pro) • Bulk codes exported straight to PDF (Pro) KEEP EVERYTHING • Every scan saved, sorted by day, and searchable • Favourites for the codes you use often • Recognises links, Wi-Fi, contacts, text and product barcodes • Export to CSV or Excel (Pro) FREE STAYS FREE Scanning and safety checks never cost a thing. No ads. No trial that quietly charges you. No feature you use every day locked behind a wall. Pro is only for the power tools — branded codes, bulk generation, batch scanning and exports. Cancel any time, in two taps, from your Apple ID settings. BUILT FOR Anyone scanning a menu, a ticket or a parking sign — and small businesses making codes for their tables, products and shelves. Questions or ideas? We read everything. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://qr-code-reader-support.web.app/privacy
